After the success in the heart of Zagreb, we decided to extend our passion for Italian and Mediterranean cuisine to the sea, creating a unique gastronomic experience that will delight your senses.
At Al Dente Rovinj, as well as in Zagreb, we cherish the tradition of handmade pasta that evokes memories of mothers and grandmothers. Our excellent chefs, faithful to that tradition, prepare pasta from 100% durum wheat and eggs from organic farming every day. We do not dry it, but cook it fresh, keeping the original flavors that are further permeated in the perfect harmony of ingredients. Each bite takes you on a journey through time and space, providing you with a true enjoyment of food.
Our pizzas tell their story through the dough, which is a combination of classic Napoletana and Canotta with thicker, puffy edges. We use only the best ingredients such as fior di latte mozzarella from a small family dairy near Naples, San Marzano tomatoes, and fresh burrata and truffles. These premium ingredients come to us from Naples and local producers, ensuring an authentic taste that reflects the richness of Italian cuisine.
By opening Al Dente Rovinj, we wanted to show the growth process of our restaurant through a more varied menu and a slightly different concept. This restaurant offers a larger space and a multi-layered experience, providing additional comfort and elegance that fits perfectly into the magical Rovinj. Our mission is to provide every guest with the ultimate pleasure in food, combining the best of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with local Istrian charms.
